About ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ

The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ) is a private, voluntary, non-profit, and non-stock corporation that was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 5, 1957.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ is a service organization that accredits, or quality assures academic programs of its member schools and does institutional accreditation.Ìý

Vision

To be the leading external quality assurance agency for schools in the Philippines and beyond.

Mission

ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ is committed to the following:

  1. Promote the realization of member institutions’ vision and mission, compliance with regulatory requirements, achievement of evidenced excellence in learning outcomes, and responsiveness to stakeholders;
  2. Support the internal quality assurance initiatives of institutions by advocating external quality assurance through voluntary accreditation that is developmental in approach;
  3. Ensure the sustainability of the Association and the growth of its members, leadership, accreditors, and staff; and
  4. Serve the national and global communities by advocating a culture of excellence and responsibility in education.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Affiliations

Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines

Established in 1977, the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP), is an umbrella organization of the three accrediting agencies: (ACSU-AAI, PACUCOA, and ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ). It is authorized by the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education to review, approve, and certify the accrediting decisions made by the accrediting agencies to grant progressive deregulation and other benefits.
